Teachers have been arraigned on charges of murdering a student

Two teachers at Holly Cross Nursery Primary School in Temeke have been arraigned in Kisutu Resident Magistrate's Court on a charge of murdering a student at the school.

The accused are Gongolamboto Resident, Leahdorice Agunda (35) and Maths Laizer who is a resident of Mtoni Kijichi.

Senior State Counsel, Wankyo Simon claimed before Chief Resident Magistrate, Yusto Ruboroga that.
On September 14, 2020 at Holly Cross Nursery Primary School located in Kijichi, Temeke District, they all killed a student at the school, Catbert Chawe, knowing that doing so would be a legal offense.

Simon claimed that the investigation into the case had not been completed and asked the court to set another date for the hearing.

Following the statement, Judge Ruboroga said the accused were not allowed to answer anything as the case was murder so he had adjourned the case until November 19, 2020
